What is the purpose of the role?

The job holder is responsible for providing efficient, comprehensive compliance support to various regions within Just Mortgages, with the emphasis on mortgage and protection case checking and providing sales quality support to our management team.

 

The role provides support for the business through delivery of key compliance activities to mitigate risks to our business, ensure excellent customer outcomes and meet our regulatory and Network requirements.

 

The main responsibilities of the Sales Quality Support

  • Support supervisors and advisers by carrying out sales quality checks on mortgage and protection cases submitted by new advisers.
  • Ensure all cases meet internal advice standards and record-keeping requirements.
  • Verify that submissions are suitable and align with the compliance criteria set by our Network.
  • Provide support, training and coaching to promote continuous improvement and uphold quality assurance standards.
  • Investigate and provide tailored support to advisers who are struggling with sales quality
  • Assist advisers with complex and high risk cases to ensure the best client outcomes
  • Collaborate with the fraud team to review cases with potential fraud indicators, ensuring appropriate checks are carried out and any concerns are reported in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Regular attendance at team meetings to provide updates and training on sales quality
  • Support the Learning and Development team by delivering induction training, helping to reinforce best practices and drive continuous improvement across the adviser network

 

Essential skills and competencies of the Sales Quality Support

  • Full CeMap qualification or equivalent
  • Previous file checking experience desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience of fraud investigation and complaints desirable
  • Previous supervisory / management experience desirable
  • Previous sales experience desirable
  • IT literate – Excel, Word and bespoke FS systems
