We are looking for an Assistant Operations Lead to join our growing PX-GC team, supporting the Operations Manager while playing a key role in developing new business, managing client relationships, and leading the sales team to deliver exceptional results.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with mid or senior-level experience in the property sector who is ready to take on a highly visible role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Main purpose of the role
As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to drive performance, develop new opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners. You will also take responsibility for managing the office and team in the absence of the Operations Manager.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational management and sales delivery.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients, working alongside the Operations Manager, Business Development Managers, and wider team.
Lead, mentor and motivate the sales team, ensuring targets and service standards are consistently achieved.
Support the Operations Manager in implementing strategies to improve team performance and operational efficiency.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive continued growth.
Represent the business at client meetings, presentations and industry events, always promoting the company professionally.
Deliver against sales targets across property sales and associated services.
Take responsibility for office leadership and operational management in the absence of the Operations Manager.
Contribute to senior leadership discussions, recognising industry trends and identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts.
Provide solutions to operational or client challenges, ensuring issues are addressed quickly and professionally.
Ensure all internal systems are maintained with accurate records, documentation and clear communication trails.
Maintain high client service standards and service level agreements across the team.
Liaise with external suppliers and industry professionals, including RICS valuers and contractors.
Work collaboratively with the wider Part Exchange & Group Clients team to manage workloads and client expectations.
Manage your own sales pipeline and workload while supporting the wider team.
Support training and development across the team, sharing expertise and best practice.
Attend and contribute to senior team meetings, presenting business results when required.
Experience within Estate Agency, Lettings, Property Sales or Property Management
Proven leadership or management experience
Strong track record of driving sales performance and business growth
Excellent relationship building and client management skills
Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation abilities
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
