    The key purpose of this role will be to inspire, lead and oversee a team of Branch Managers within our South West Division, ensuring residential property sales are maximised, market share increased and cross-selling optimised. 


    Who you will report to


    You will be reporting to and working conjunctly with one of our most influential and inspirational Regiona Partners, Gareth Brackin (see below to connect with him on LinkedIn) to monitor, evaluate and implement business sales targets to achieve sustained growth in line with the company's strategic goals and vision.


    Who you will be responsible for


    You will recruit, support and develop a team of 5 Branch Managers across the South West.Weston-Super-Mare, Taunton, Exeter, Torquay & Plymouth.


    Your day to day duties


    You play a key part in the recruitment, development and retention of your team of already successful Branch Managers. You will be responsible for providing leadership, motivation and business development/ sales direction to your team whilst demonstrating how they can capitalise on sales opportunities and improve personal performance. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage all sales and business development activity across the region in order to achieve the business objectives and targets in line with the Company Way. You will make it your business to understand the commercial market and the commercial strengths and weaknesses of our competitors to capitalise on sales opportunities. A major part of your role will also be to develop and manage (in conjunction with the Regional Partner) the region's operating budget, ensuring that a cost effective business is consistently maintained. 


    Acting as a Role Model you will be able to create the culture and environment needed to underpin and support the Company Vision. Your team will enjoy working with you as you continue to develop and deliver a challenging and rewarding environment which encourages employees to continually add value, improve ways of working and to develop and grow on an individual basis.


    Not only this, you will also be involved with the Marketing team in the development of the Sales Strategy, review the Sales Process and make suggestion to help achieve the region's sales targets.

    This role is ideal if you have already gained experience as a high performing Branch Manager, and have a background of managing large, successful teams whilst ensuring compliance to agreed sales plans/ business plans.     Knowledge you will need

    • Practical understanding of regulatory issues and the impact on each and every sale
    • Proven track record of developing individuals to continually build competence, personal performance and sales
    • You will know how to apply your knowledge as a persuasive and influential sales professional who can lead by example and use your own previous sales experience
    • You can evidence an understanding of accurate forecasting
    • Working knowledge of how to identify and maximise business opportunities within the estate agency environment
    • Know the difference between a job and a career and use this to develop and retain your team
    • Local property and market knowledge would be advantageous
    • It is highly desirable, but not essential if you meet all of the above requirements, to have experience of working at Senior Manager level within the Estate Agency arena
